Energy Efficiency Finance Facility EU / EBRD (EEFF) is a joint funding program, which aims to promote energy efficiency investments in the private sector in Romania, through local partner banks. By means of this facility, Romanian companies can borrow up to 2.5 million euro for investments aiming at energy efficiency, benefiting from a grant of 15% from the EU, given at the successful project completion. Besides financing, the companies will receive free technical advice from Tractable Engineering, also financed with European funds.
Organizing this event was aimed at giving out awards for excellence to Romanian companies that have successfully implemented energy efficiency projects using EU EBRD funds - Energy Efficiency Finance Facility. Awards are a form of expressing their appreciation for the EBRD's involvement in the development of energy efficiency projects, a recognition of economic and environmental benefits achieved by companies in sustainable private sector investments in energy efficiency.
