Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019, in the big Hall of CEC Palace, the closure conference for SMEs Financing and SMEs Export Promotion Projects under the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme took place. During the event, the conclusions and outcomes of the Projects dedicated to supporting of Romanian SMEs in being competitive on the internal and external markets were analyzed.

The Swiss-Romanian Programme for SMEs (PREIMM) is one of the major Projects supported from the Swiss Contribution for Romania in view of improving the business environment and facilitating the access of SME segment to financing. With a budget of more than Lei 170 million, the Programme was launched in January 2014 and implemented in partnership with CEC Bank.

"By this Programme, CEC Bank supported more than 570 SMEs in making investments to develop their businesses, contributing to the creation of more than 1 600 new jobs in eight key areas: production, healthcare, tourism, sales of energy efficiency and renewable energy related equipment, IT and communications, transport and storage, constructions, professional, technical and scientific activities", has stated on this occasion Mr. Laurentiu Gabriel Mitrache, Managing Director and President of the Board of Directors of CEC Bank.

Among the participants in the event, there were high representatives of public institutions, central and regional partners, beneficiary SMEs, media representatives.
