Thursday, December 9, 2010, within the fifteenth edition of the Gala of "Piata Financiara" Magazine Awards, the European Fund Office of CEC Bank was designated as the best banking product in 2010.

The ceremony for granting the awards has developed at the headquarters of the National Bank of Romania and was accompanied by the launch of the anniversary edition of the "Piata Financiara" Magazine, celebrating 15 years of existence. The anniversary took place in parallel with the celebration of 130 years since the incorporation of NBR.

At the event has participated from the part of CEC Bank, Mr. Radu Gratian Ghetea, President, Mrs. Mihaela Popa, Vice-president, Mrs. Mirela Iovu, Vice-president, Mr. Cristian Tudorancea, Vice-president, Mrs. Doina Topala, Manager of SME Directorate, Mrs. Laura Mihai, Manager of Large Client Directorate, Mr. Florin Tat, Project Manager, Mr. Cristian Nae, Manager of Banking Products and Services Directorate and Mrs. Oltea Belciuganu, Manager of Marketing and Communication Directorate. The event gathered representatives of the financial-banking community and of the political and business environment.

"European Fund Office" is a concept incorporating both the banking facility – loans for allowing the access to European Funds, and the advisory services offered to the clients, in all the CEC Bank branches. Launching the European Fund Office, CEC Bank has strengthened its role on the financial-banking market in Romania, concerning the co-financing allowing access to European Funds. With a wide experience in funding pre-accession projects, the Bank has anticipated the need of its clients, offering advisory and guidance through its specialized personnel, both to those wanting to co-finance their projects approved by the management authorities, and to those who are preparing and submitting their projects.
