Presedintele CEC Radu Ghetea Bancherul anului 2011

On Wednesday, November 23, 2011, within the "Financial Leaders' Hall of Fame 2011", Mr. Radu Gratian Ghetea, President of CEC Bank, was designated "Banker of the year 2011".

The Gala "Financial Leaders' Hall of Fame 2011", organized by the Business Arena Magazine, rewarded institutions and top personalities of the banking, leasing, investments, insurance and stock exchange sectors for the achievements obtained during 2011, despite the difficult economic context.

“Taking into consideration the current economic conditions, the financial consultancy plays an extremely important role in the relationship with our customers. I remind the fact that, starting with June 2011; CEC Bank opened the European Funds Office in all the county subsidiaries, offering consultancy and guidance, through specialized personnel, in view of accessing European funds. Therefore, I had the occasion to meet customers of our bank from the majority of the countries' counties, at their work place, in the course of business. Throughout the country, businessmen are preoccupied with developing their businesses, with expanding, with moving on, making plans regardless of the economic crisis and the exchange rate. Businesses are generally family businesses, parents preparing their children to take over the activity.  The realistic financial plans for the future and the solid perspectives for continuing business are the aspects which please and interest us within the analysis of granting loans", stated Mr. Radu Gratian Ghetea, President of CEC Bank.

The event was organized at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Bucharest and brought together leaders in the financial-banking field, representatives of the representatives of the local authorities, diplomats and government senior officers.
