During 15 March – 30 April 2007, the Central Hall of the CEC Palace hosts the "Thrilling Voyages" painting exhibition by artist Dorina Padineanu. The paintings are in canvas oil, in vivid, optimistic colours, depicting miscellaneous landscapes, from Calea Victoriei in Bucharest to Rio del Paradiso in Venice.
Having graduated from the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Arts Academy, the Textile Decorative Arts desk, Dorina Padineanu participated in numerous group or individual exhibitions. Ever since 1973, the artist’s works have been on display at Sala Dalles, Sala Kalinderu, the Bucharest History Museum, TIBCO, Cercul Militar, Muzeul Taranului Roman (Museum of the Romanian Peasant), the Cultural House of the Ministry of the Interior, Financial Plazza, The House of Art and the Museum of Art in Brasov.
Decorative and painting works signed by Dorina Padineanu are found in both private and state collections in Romania, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, the United States and Japan.
