Learn the 14 basic rules in order to you avoid being cheated!

Rule 1
Do not entrust your money to others to make operations in your name and do not make cash operations without verifying the precisely performance of those operations and without requiring confirmation of their performance through legal documents (such as signed and stamped bank statements, signed and stamped encashment orders, signed and stamped payment orders, in which to be mentioned in writing the exact amount that you deposited/withdrawn in/of the account etc.).

Rule 2
The Bank does not collect money from client's address so you must not entrust money to persons who are or claim to be employees of the bank. Any operations with the bank should be made only at the bank's office or by legal means available (ATMs, EPOS at merchants, internet banking, mobile banking etc.).

Rule 3
Do not entrust to unknown persons documents and banking information such as: card number, PIN, identity documents, etc., because they can be used in your prejudice both by withdrawing amounts from your accounts but also by contracting loans in your name. Only you must know your personal data! Do not hand over the card or Internet banking authentication device to others.

Rule 4
Do not trust unknown persons who claim that they can protect your interests!

Rule 5
Do not leave blank but signed payment orders or cheques, applications/credit agreements signed in blank. Read carefully before you sign!

Rule 6
Ask for documents for any operation made and keep it. Do not respond to any requests to sign bank documents outside the Bank's units.

Rule 7
Check periodically the situation of your account.

Rule 8
If you make credits on behalf of other persons or underwrite (guarantee) for them, you must be aware that you are responsible for their reimbursement as if you had borrowed yourself and the law will not exempt you from compliance with these obligations.

Rule 9
Do not respond to possible requests for rewards or other "fees" from workers and report them immediately to bank management, because the bank employees are not allowed to charge fees or accept personal commissions for any type of operation or service provided.

Rule 10
Pay attention to operations such as pyramid schemes involving bank payments. The Bank has in place systems to detect suspicious transactions, but the final responsibility is yours.

Rule 11
When you withdraw money from the bank, put them in a safe place and make sure no one follows you.

Rule 12
Report any suspected fraud at the e-mail address

Rule 13
Before entering into business relationships with other persons (especially on the basis of payment instruments such as checks and promissory notes) you should check them with the Payment Incident Bureau (PIB) and with Bank Risk Central (BCR) through the services offered by the bank for this purpose.

Rule 14
Carefully check the email addresses from which you receive the details required to make payments. Do not under any circumstances make cash deposits/bank transfers without confirming from the safe sources the beneficiary of the amounts (the identity of the real beneficiary, account number, etc.).
