CEC Bank launched new facilities within the Mobile Banking platform, via which natural persons are able to pay their duties and taxes both towards the state budget and the local budgets, as well as the taxes on building, land, transportation means, self-employment income, rental and leasing activities, etc.
CEC Bank Mobile Banking app allows making intra- and interbank payments in lei and foreign currency, as well as making the payment of invoices, performing currency exchanges, setting up/liquidating deposits and obtaining financial information directly and promptly from the mobile phone. Another modern functionality of the app is the payment of utility invoices by scanning the bar codes via the mobile phone, available in the case of the partners with which the bank entered collection agreements. The platform also allows the localisation of all territorial units and bank ATMs by GPS, this element being integrated with the maps available on the mobile terminals. Via these facilities, any interested person is guided, through the navigation systems, to the closest bank unit or ATM, with the exact indication of the route to follow.
Interbank transfers via CEC Bank Mobile Banking have commissions discounted by 50% compared to the standard rate, the reduction being 100% in the case of intrabank transfers.
‘By adding the new components of CEC Bank Mobile Banking app, natural persons are able to easily and securely pay various duties and taxes. Consequently, according to the assumed objectives, CEC Bank takes a new step towards digitalising and improving client experience’ stated Mr. Radu Gratian Ghetea, President – CEC Bank General Manager.
The app is available both for Apple (iOS) and for Android devices. You can obtain more details on the Mobile Banking service from any CEC Bank territorial unit, by calling 0.800.800.848 free of charge, or by accessing www.cec.ro - Remote Operations tab.
