Compensation and Benefits Manager

The Compensation and Benefits Manager plays a key role in coordinating the compensation and benefits agenda and in contributing to the implementation of the HR strategy. 
The C&B Manager peers with Training&Development, Recruitment&Employer Branding and HR Administration and directly oversees a team of eight [2 compensation and benefits specialists and 6 payroll specialists].

 

We welcome onboard a new colleague that is ready to embark in an exciting HRIS implementation project that aims to transform the HR way of working and significantly impact the internal processes and HR practices within the bank.

 

Requirements

  • bachelor's or master's degree in business or HR;
  • several years of experience in C&B
  • strong use of finance/ statistical analysis;
  • prior experience in banking industry, would be an advantage.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure fair and accurate compensation, including regular salaries, bonuses and all additional benefits.
  • Conduct market research/ salary surveys and statistical analysis to determine the internal salary grid
  • Manage the job analysis and evaluation process and ensure an up to date Job Matrix
  • Monitor the internal equity & analytics to identify trends or correct deviations.
  • Participate in developing bonus structures and manage the bonus allocation processes.
  • Stay up to date and maintain compliance with internal and external regulations. Ensure policies and procedures updates. Prepare annual salary budget; prepare quarterly and annual reviews of salary budgets.
  • Monitor distribution of payroll.

  • Good business sense to understand the complexities of the industry and provide optimal advice and solutions.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with line management and vendors, through effective communication skills and a solution focus mindset and attitude
  • Ability to think critically to problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritize and keep focus on the overall agenda.
  • Open to ‘new’ by showing adaptability and interest in continuous learning and self development.
  • People focus - lead by example, focus on sharing knowledge, mentoring, support team to deal with change and deliver results.
